Assortment of Flowering Roses

I have been too busy over the last couple of months to keep up with the blog, but decided to rest and relax a bit, and been out deadheading the roses and doing a bit of ‘therapeutic’ weeding! Snapped a few pics whilst out there –

IMG_1254One of my favourite combinations is this Sambucus Black Beauty with Rosa Mundi growing below! The Sambucus has been flowering for such a long time this year and lots more flowers than normal!IMG_1248Lady of Shallott also looking good – she only went in about 2 months ago.IMG_1242

Gertrude Jeckyll planted around the same time as Lady of Shallott.IMG_1221Kew Gardens which opens cream and then fades to white – delicate perfume and thornless. (very floriferous)IMG_1240Another David Austin above ‘Teasing Georgia’
